At Ruka Network, we are a passionate team dedicated to empowering young people in Kasarani and beyond. We believe in the transformative power of mentorship and have designed the MentorPlus program to bridge the opportunity gap.
MentorPlus: Investing in Relationships, Igniting Potential
MentorPlus operates within schools and vulnerable communities, fostering meaningful connections between young people and experienced mentors. Our vision is to cultivate a movement that prioritizes these relationships and unlocks potential for all youth.
Aligning with Global and National Goals:
We are committed to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the African Union's Agenda 2063, and Kenya's Vision 2030. Our MentorPlus program directly contributes to these goals by:
Building on Kenya's Vision 2030 and the CBC:
MentorPlus aligns perfectly with Kenya's Vision 2030 and the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Our program equips young people with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and life skills emphasized by the CBC.
Addressing the Triple Threat: A Legacy of Wellbeing
We are actively working to combat the "triple threat" of SRHR, HIV/AIDS, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) through our Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) initiative.
Weaving a Brighter Future:
Ruka Network stands as a beacon of hope, weaving together the aspirations of global, continental, and national visions. Through our programs, we are not only implementing the SDGs and AU Vision 2063, but actively contributing to a sustainable and prosperous future for the youth of Kenya. We invite you to join us in making a difference, one empowered young person at a time.
